A double challenge...the second time around

I'm back again, to post a second card for the "Combined Grind" Challenge with CASE Study Challenge #27 and The Play Date Cafe Challenge #69.  It's been very challenging (pun intended) to combine these two challenges into one card.  Well...that is the whole point.  It should be a challenge! That's what helps me push myself out of my stamping "comfort zone".

The combined challenge is:
In my previous post (yes...2 posts in one day), you can see the first card that I created for this challenge.  {If you click on the title of my blog, it will bring up all of the posts for this month}
I was just not loving my first card...so I came up with a card that has a completely different feel.  This one was so much fun to create!  It's was a fun card to make...and it made me smile.  Let me know what you think :)

This card measures 8 1/2" x 3 3/8".  It will fit in a standard size business envelope.  I knew that I wanted to use these cute butterflies (from the $1 bin at Michael's) and I felt I needed a wider card for them to "fly"...so to speak  : o )

Supplies:
Card Stock: basic black, real red, whisper white (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: delight in life (SU)
Patterned paper: first edition (SU)
Ink: basic black, pear pizzazz
Other: green felt confetti butterflies (Michael's), xmas red & peeled paint stickles (Ranger)
