All I have seen - CASE Study challenge

Sunday, May 29, 2011
I finally had the chance to stamp with my cousin (and fellow stamper) Cheryl, yesterday!  It had been almost 4 months since we stamped together...and we only live about 18 miles apart.  Life gets so busy; especially since we both work full time.

Anyway, this is one of the cards I made yesterday.  It's going to a co-worker that has just finished another round of chemo.  She's a gem.  We really miss her at work and hope she'll be back soon!  She came in to work for a few minutes, to visit, one day last week.  She mentioned how much she loved the cards that she's received.  Well, I knew right away that I wanted to make another card for her this weekend.

This card will go into this week's CASE Study Challenge #41
Take a  look at our inspiration from Sarah Martina Parker - isn't is gorgeous?
And, my card...
Hmmm...I was just thinking.  Last weekend my stamping style was clean and simple.  This weekend, it's kind of vintage - with layering, stitching and embellishments.  I love both styles...obviously.  This card was a joy to make.  The patterned paper that is stitched to my card base was given to me by my stamping partner yesterday.  It's difficult to see in the photo, but it has some silver-y script on top of the floral print.  Very pretty IRL!

Thanks so much for stopping in.  I hope you'll leave a comment!
