Just because - CASE Study #148

Have you seen who the July muse is, at CASE Study this month?  Jocelyn Olson!  She's so very talented.
AND.  One of my Dynamic Duos teamies is the July Guest Designer.  Yes, Tracey McNeely :)
I'm so happy for her...and it's well deserved!

Take a look at Jocelyn's inspiration card for CASE Study #148.
I stayed with the butterfly theme and general layout.  But, I was in the mood for a soft watercolor effect.  And, oh boy, it was fun.  :)

I used watercolor paper, of course.  It absorbs the ink and water so beautifully.  I misted the paper lightly.  Then I inked, misted and stamped each butterfly.  The ink pooled on the paper at first, but eventually was absorbed.  I absolutely love the blurred, watercolor look that I ended up with.  I just might make a few more of these this weekend.  We're being home-bodies over this extended holiday weekend.  Getting some work done AND doing some stamping.  Love it!
Thanks for looking!
