Celebrate your day! - A Case Study Challenge

When I was browsing the challenge blogs a couple of days ago, this one sure caught my eye!  Jennifer McGuire is the August Muse at CASE Study and she's created a beautiful color blocked card for Case Study #154.

I was drawn to the blocks of color in Jennifer's card, but I decided to use colors that would give me an ombre effect.

I adhered 5 strips of colored card stock (a very good way to use up some scraps) to a piece of white card stock.  Then I used one of my new Memory Box dies to create the negative die cut.  I even remembered to pop out the 2 tiny flower centers from the die so that I could use them here.
The sentiment is embossed in white. And that's all. Easy peasy!

Thanks so much for taking a look!

supply list ~
card stock: crushed curry, more mustard, pumpkin pie, really rust, cajun craze (SU)
ink: versamark
stamps: signature greetings (PTI)
die: hollyhock stem (Memory Box)
other: white embossing powder (SU)
