CASE Study #157
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Emboss it! - heat or dry embossing
The first thing I noticed on Cathy Racoosin's inspiration card, was the stripes in the background. I knew that I wanted to use dry embossing to create my stripes, so this is the result of the 2 challenges.
I used an impression plate to create these stripes. This one always reminds me of bead board, so I decided to create a spray of pine boughs to (hopefully) resemble a decorated wall or door for Christmas time.
The little sprigs were punched using a Martha Stewart punch. The bow was made from Stampin' Up's natural trim (I think it's in the holiday catalog). I decorated my pine boughs with 3 little Candy Dots (SU).
Thanks so much for taking a look today!
