I saw the inspiration photo over at the CASE Study challenge blog and, well...I was stumped. It's such an intriguing & interesting image. Even though it was quite a challenge, I knew I had to play along.
Take a look the CASE Study #171 image. You'll see what I mean.
As I looked through my stamp index, I realized that I don't have any large bird images. Surprising, since I'm so interested in watching the birds at our feeders.
The bright colors in this bird are what (eventually) inspired my card.
I used some colorful patterned papers from My Minds Eye for my flock of birds. They're popped up on foam tape, perched on a die-cut branch. This card came together easily. Well. Except for when I dropped the branch onto the floor. Just after I had applied Tombow Multi glue to the back. Oh yes, it landed glue side down. Onto the carpet. I may have said a bad word.
Thanks so much for spending a minute or two visiting!
