It's okay to be different - 2 challenges

Hey, sharing a card that I had soooooo much fun creating.  I looked at the inspiration piece for CASE Study Challenge #188 several times yesterday, but I couldn't find my "direction".  I loved this card by Jaclyn, but I wasn't sure how to translate into my own card.

Until this afternoon.  After working on something else, I took one more look at Jaclyn's card - then took a look at the colors for Dynamic Duos #100 - and knew exactly what I wanted to do.  Thank you DD!

This was fun.  And...it turned out exactly as I imagined it.

This is something a little different for me.  Ink splats, brush strokes and dots...oh my.  Lol!
I was inspired by the grouping of elements in the center of Jaclyn's card.   The DD colors and these stamp sets that happened to be laying on my craft table, gave me the inspiration I needed.

Anyway, I've rambled on for long enough.  Thanks for taking a look today!

P.S. The Dynamic Duos #100 Challenge is the final one.  This is very sad news for me, since DD was the first Design Team I worked on.  Thank you to Lesley for giving me a start!  I enjoyed it immensely and had the opportunity to work with an amazing talented group of ladies!    Don't worry Lesley isn't going anywhere, she has several other challenge blogs.  In fact she's my "boss" over at Seize The Birthday, where I'm on the DT.  :)
