Hi! I finally found carved out some time at my craft table today to create a birthday card for a couple of challenges. How do my weekends without plans, get so busy??? Yikes!
I just HAD to find the time to play along at CASE Study #192, since my friend Wida is the Muse this month. I wish that I'd the time to play along each week this month. :(
Take a look at Wida's wonderful card!
Sweet and adorable...right? I loved Wida's use of die cuts and (of course) splatters. So I used those elements...but I went whimsical and a bit silly. If you knew the friend that this card will be going to, you would know why!
I'm also playing along with the color challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges. Love the summery colors. :)
My card...
Oh my, this card took about 2 1/2 hours to make. How is that possible? I sure had fun with it though. I used a variety of Stampin' Up punches, a die cut horse, a wooden arrow and an alpha cork. Oh, and a few splatters of Heidi Swapp Teal Color Shine.
Thanks for taking a look!
