Dream, create, inspire - CAS-ual Friday Challenge

Saturday July 23, 2011

It's a beautiful Saturday, here in northern Illinois!!!  It's RAINING!  Yes, I love it.  So much.
I can almost hear my flowers drinking in the moisture (it's been very, very dry here).  We've been watering our flowers...but it just isn't the same as a good rain.  I truly see a difference in the plants after we've had a soaking rain.
Anyway...back to paper crafting.
I'm playing along in the CAS-ual Fridays CFC12 today.  Here's the challenge:

Yup, dig through your stash and find those rub-ons that you haven't used in a while.  That's what I did.  And, you know what?  I've got a whole lot of great sentiments and images in those packages.  Why haven't I been using them???   Thanks to the DT at CAS-ual Fridays, I'll be using a lot more of those rub-ons :)

I decided to challenge myself to use only rub-ons on my card...no stamping, no embellishments, no layers either.

I did add 3 score lines above the border of leaves.  This was an easy card to make - once I decided which images to use, and where to place them.  That took longer than actually making the card.  Way longer.
Thanks for stopping by!

Just a few supplies ~
stampers select white card stock from PTI
summer love rub-ons (retired) from SU!
scoring board from MS (borrowed from Cheryl, when I stamped at her home yesterday!)

  2. GORGEOUS! The composition and score lines are so beautiful! It's hard to believe what rub-ons and stickers can do for cards without stamping, huh? I'm amazed myself :) Glad that you join the fun with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
