Sending Prayers - 2 challenges

Hello!  Remember me?  Yeah, it's been a while since I've posted.  I usually post every weekend - a couple of posts, if possible.  But life gets very busy, doesn't it?
I hosted a Stampin' Up! party yesterday.  We had a room FULL of talented stampers, and we had so much fun!
A big Thank You to my friend Kris.  She's a wonderful demonstrator!
By the way...she taught us how to "tap dance" yesterday ;o)   You'll have to ask a SU demo to show you how.

Hey, I guess I'd better get back on track.  The card I've made today is going into 2 challenges.

CR84FN 52 Color Challenge
I needed to send out a sympathy card this morning, and realized that I've only got one more.  So, I needed to replenish my stash.  I think the colors in the CR84FN challenge work well for a sympathy card to be sent to a woman.  The colors are soft, but not drab.
I am really enjoying the retro sketches and I try to play along as often as I can.  This one was a bit of a challenge at first (that's the point isn't it?), but it was fun to play with.

This is how I've combined the two challenges.

I've used a textured card stock for the base.  It's a retired Stampin' Up! card stock in Creamy Caramel. I've used dimensional adhesive for two layers of this card.  I used various butterfly images from Beautiful Butterflies by PTI, along with a sentiment from the same set.

Thanks so much for taking a look.  I hope you'll leave a comment.  I SO enjoy reading them!

Supplies:
card stock: textured creamy caramel, pretty in pink, very vanilla (Stampin' Up!)
ink: creamy caramel, pretty in pink (SU), tuxedo black (Momento)
stamps: beautiful butterflies (Papertrey Ink)
other: border punch (MS), faux pearl (Recollections from Michaels)

Hey friend! Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

Today, I'm playing along with Freshly Made Sketches #631 Challenge.  A sketch always helps me with a starting point for my cards. There...
