Remember - The Shabby Tea Room #110

Hey, I'm back with my second post for today.  This time I'm playing along with The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #110.  The colors really called to me.  And...I wanted to use some of the pretty aqua mist felt I purchased recently.

*** Edited to add...oops, I was too late for the challenge!  Ack! ***

Here's the challenge photo provided by Tammy.  So, so pretty...

I recently saw a card on Ivana's blog that I just loved.  You can see her card HERE.  The layout of her card inspired mine.

My card ~

Ahhh...I love these colors together.  That aqua color is Stampin' Up's pool party.    It seems to be my favorite color card stock lately :)  The aqua mist felt is from Papertrey Ink.  I was surprised how closely they match.  The pool party card stock was die cut with Papertrey Ink's front & center II die, which is actually meant to be used as the front (and back) of a gift bag.  I cut off just the top few inches from the die cut, for my card.  I left the "handle" of the die cut intact.  I added more die cuts, a rolled flower and then a vintage button (it's a very, very light pink color) tied with some linen thread.

Thank for taking a peek at what I've been up to!

What's in it?
card stock: confetti cream, pool party, blushing bride (SU)
stamp: harvest berries (PTI)
dsp: in color patterns pack (SU)
other: aqua mist felt (PTI), front & center II die, tag sale #5 die (PTI), rolled flower die (MFT), scor-tape, glue dots, linen thread, vintage button from an estate sale
