Wedding Day card - Lily Pad Cards

Hello!  This post will have to be quick.  My husband needs to use this computer.  And...I have numerous stamping/crafting projects that I need to create this weekend.  No time to spare!

I'm playing along in the Lily Pad Cards, Virginia's View Challenge #4.  The inspiration is photo is beautiful!

My take on the challenge is a wedding card for one of my Etsy customers.

This rose took several attempts, before I was satisfied with the results.  I stamped the rose 3 times onto Cherry Cobbler card stock, using clear embossing power.  Using the images to create 3 layers for the rose.  I then swiped my Versamark pad around the edges of all 3 layers, to add some "shadow".  Then curled the outer petals of each layer by gently wrapping them around a pencil, just slightly.  Each layer is adhered with dimensional adhesive. Then the rose was attached using 2 layers of foam tape, to give it some extra lift.  The time spent I spend "experimenting" was absolutely worth the result.  I love it!

Thanks so much for taking a look!
