A Vintage Style Christmas - Seize The Sketch #5

Hey, I'm back with my 2nd post for today.  I found a little time to play along with Seize The Sketch #5 yesterday.  I've switched from Halloween mode, back to Christmas.  For now.
Anyway, take a look at the great sketch for this week.

I was in the mood for a vintage-y card.

I sewed a piece of vellum over a piece of patterned paper, then matted it with red card stock.  I added a few more pops of red with the sentiment, the brad and that little banner beneath the brad.  Quite an easy card to make.  Well.  Once I figured out the problem with my sewing machine.  Turns out it was operator error...not the machine.

card stock: kraft (PTI), real red, very vanilla (SU), vellum (The Paper Studio)
stamps: christmas stamp set (Precious Remembrance Shop)
ink: versamark
patterned paper: santa's list 6 x 6 pad (Teresa Collins)
other: christmas mint brad (s.e.i.), thread, sewing machine
