Flowers for a cold winter day!

No card challenge this time.  I created this card for an Aunt, for Valentine's Day...just to remind her that we love her.

I had the idea for this card while I was waiting to fall asleep last night.  I wondered if I should get up and make a few notes.  I didn't though.   I probably should have, because it took me a few minutes this morning to remember that idea.

I began by sponging several inks onto the bottom third of the card.  Gray, kraft and green.
Then I stamped my stems and leaves before finally stamping the flowers.  I added the wrought iron fence in black ink.  The final touch was the sentiment strip.

You know what?  It turned out just as I planned.  I think that's twice in one week!

Anyway, thanks for spending a bit of time at my blog.  I love visitors!
